The Sizwe Tropical Disease Hospital is the location for the open Vacancies.
Food Service Aid REQUIREMENTS:
Abet level 4/ Grade 10.
Previous experience in the cleaning industry is highly desirable.
A working knowledge of cleaning processes, color coding, and the bucket system, in addition to the ability to operate cleaning equipment.
Reading and writing skills are required.
Always be dependable and on time.
Must be willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays, including those observed by the government.
Cooperate as a group and take turns working in different departments.
Food Service Aid DUTIES:
The provision of cleaning services within the medical facility, including the cleaning of offices, wards, corridors, and boardrooms by means of sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping floors, as well as dusting and waxing office furniture;
This is part of a more comprehensive cleaning service.
Floors are being vacuumed and shampooed, dusting and cleaning of bins are being done daily, and waste papers are being collected and removed.
Clean the sinks in the kitchen and the rest rooms, replace the hand soap liquid and paper towels, and refill the hand soap dispensers.
Report any cleaning equipment or supplies that are broken.
