REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- Computer literacy certificate.
- Valid driver’s license (an added advantage).
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Secretarial and administrative capabilities.
- Strong work ethic.
- Adaptability, communication, assertiveness/leadership, conflict and stress management, negotiation, problem solving, office/diary administration, good administrative skills, writing and typing abilities, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of the Traffic sector.
- Two to three years of relevant administrative experience in a local government authority or a similar high-pressure workplace.
DUTIES
- Answering and screening all calls for the Traffic Chief and Chief Superintendent.
- Typing of all required documentation.
- Filing administrative tasks for Traffic Services to guarantee appropriate archiving is maintained.
- Organization of functions (formal or informal).
- To ensure that the section’s administrative functions are in place for future reference and that the section runs well overall.
- Organizing the Chief Traffic and Superintendent’s Diaries. -Prepare monthly reports.
- Perform any other related ad hoc tasks and obligations as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.
