Assistant Storekeeper Job Description
Help out in the stores dealing with all of the receipts and issuing that is related to the raw material, finished goods, and packaging departments.
Help with the receiving of all incoming materials and ensuring that the physical quantities are accurately matched up with the orders placed for them.
The person in charge of notifying the storekeeper of the receipt of all incoming goods that acquire inspection should have this responsibility.
Adhering to ISO Standards regarding storekeeping.
Helping out with the cycle counting of different materials.
Make sure that all of the documentation that is used in the stores is stored securely.
Uphold high standards of cleanliness in the house.
complied with all of the safety standards.
Carry out any ad hoc responsibilities that may arise.
Assistant Storekeeper Experience and other necessary qualifications
Matric/ Grade 12.
1 year’s worth of experience in both storekeeping and the handling of materials.
Computer literate.
