Description of the Job
The Anova Health Institute is a non-governmental organization that works to improve people’s lives and give them more agency.
What drives us to provide those who have the greatest need for healthcare solutions and support is the desire to improve their quality of life and overall health.
Anova extends an invitation to young people who are currently without work to submit an application for the Learnership Programme for the period 2023-2024.
Learners who are deemed successful will be given the opportunity to participate in the Learnership Programme for a period of one year beginning on October 1, 2023 and ending on September 30, 2024, during which time they will receive a stipend.
Through participation in the Learnership Programme, participants will have the chance to acquire both theoretical and practical knowledge in the context of the workplace.
Learners will be expected to attend classes, compile a body of evidence in the form of a portfolio, and successfully complete written and oral examinations provided by an accredited Learning Provider. Learners will be awarded NQF Level 4 National Certificates in the following subjects upon successful completion of this Learnership if they meet the requirements.

Prerequisites for the Program
As a minimum requirement, you must provide a valid certified copy of your Grade 12 or Matriculation certificate.
Learnership applicants are required to be unemployed at the time that the agreement for the program is signed.
Between the ages of 18 and 35 inclusively (The learner’s age cannot be older than 35 years old in October of 2023)
People who are currently living with disabilities will be expected to produce a medical certificate that verifies the specific nature of their condition.
We will only consider applications from South African citizens who can provide proof of their citizenship, such as a driver’s license or passport.
During the duration of the Learnership program, applicants are not allowed to be enrolled in any other experiential learning programs nor participate in any of those programs.
Qualities that are indispensable
Be able to work effectively under pressure and participate actively in group endeavors.
Clear and effective communication in the English language, both orally and in writing
Computer fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions are all required.

Interested applicants who are able to satisfy the requirements outlined above should submit the following:
In-depth curriculum vitae
Certified copy of the Matric and ID copy
A copy of the qualification’s certification
Documentation of residency or an affidavit stating the address is required.

Evidence of vaccination against COVID
According to our Employment Equity goals and plan, preference will be given to qualified applicants who are members of designated groups, as those terms are defined in the Employment Equity Act 55 of 1998 and subsequent amendments thereto.

A mandatory vaccination policy has been implemented at Anova Health Institute because that organization is a supplier of essential medical services.
As a result, compliance with the policy is required.

Even if the candidate is hired by Anova, the agency that sent the candidate’s CV without first being asked for it will not be compensated with any agency fees even though the candidate was sent to Anova.
If an agency sends a candidate’s CV without first being asked for it, that agency will not be paid any agency fees even if the candidate is hired by Anova.
It is important that you understand that the Anova Health Institute will not request any payment from you at any point in the selection process.
