Purpose Of The Role
To implement the business maintenance strategy and client service standards, it is necessary to conduct timely and high-quality planned, preventative, and emergency maintenance on the specified air conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, and water reticulation units.
Primary Output
- Execute equipment service specifications in accordance with the needs of the client and the company.
- Install and operate water reticulation and air conditioning equipment in accordance with the specified specifications.
- Maintain the air conditioning and water reticulation equipment in accordance with the schedule, and rectify any preventative or emergency faults.
- Conduct an on-site inspection of the facility and air conditioning equipment, identify potential hazards, and provide a report for remediation.
- Ensure that the rectification of preventative or emergency faults is in accordance with the pertinent legislation, SLA, and job plans.
- Guarantee the timely completion of all field requests and the quality of the work.
- Ensure that the Supervisor and Client are provided with consistent feedback regarding the restoration of operations.
Skills And Qualifications
- The following prerequisites must be satisfied by the applicant:
- Mechanical engineering: N3-N6 HVAC (Air-conditioning and refrigeration) trade-test 5 years of experience as an artisan Matric (Senior Certificate)
- SA that is valid Valid driver’s license
- 5 years of relevant experience in the maintenance of air conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation equipment, and digital control systems, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the trade. Maintenance of water reticulation systems, air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation equipment.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
