Objectives of the Position :

If you are interested in joining our team and providing expert advice on beauty and wellness products, Medirite Plus Lydenburg is looking for a Beauty Consultant who is committed to the beauty industry and has a strong interest in the retail beauty industry.
One of your primary responsibilities will be to:
Providing customers with information regarding products and prices, as well as
The promotion and sale of beauty products through the provision of outstanding service to customers

Maintaining efficient operations, stock management, and shrink control in the beauty department while adhering to administrative and housekeeping standards is a priority.
By providing customers with product demonstrations and assisting them in locating products that meet their requirements.
Customer needs should be identified, and cosmetics and skin care products should be recommended based on the preferences of the customer.
The beauty department should be driven to achieve maximum sales through the use of promotions, cross-selling, and up-selling of beauty products.
A proper presentation of the products should be ensured on the shelves.
Customers should be instructed on how to use the products that they are considering purchasing.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all beauty products, ranges, trends, promotions, and events in order to provide customers with accurate information at all times.
The provision of outstanding customer service through sales, merchandising, and stock control of products is the means by which high levels of customer satisfaction can be ensured and maintained.
Handle questions and concerns from customers and, if necessary, escalate them to management.
Assist with any ad hoc tasks that may be required, with the exception of dispensary duties.
Qualifications include the following:
Obtained a VERIFIED Grade 12 certificate
Highly desirable:
Becoming certified as a professional in the field of beauty therapy and makeup, or in any other relevant field of study.
Cosmetology certifications will be an additional advantage for the candidate.
With experience:
Proven experience working in a beauty and skincare environment in a role that is comparable to the one being applied for.
A minimum of five months of experience working at a point of sale or till point in a retail setting should be required.
Skills and Acquired Knowledge:
Capability to demonstrate and promote various beauty products available.
A knowledge of which products are appropriate for the various types of skin.
Competence in both communication and interpersonal relationships.
A comprehensive understanding of the many different cosmetics and beauty products available.
Outstanding abilities in both customer service and sales.
It is driven by results and targets.
Administrative abilities that are strong.
Bilingual, with a strong preference for fluency in both English and Afrikaans.
Personality that is both friendly and engaging.
Prior experience in retail or fast-moving consumer goods, as well as knowledge of merchandising and promotion principles.
Able to demonstrate familiarity with various methods of payment, including cash, checks, bank cards, credit cards, coupons, and vouchers.
