Description of the Job

The Beauty Sales Assistant position at Healthchem Pharmacy needs someone who is committed to providing excellent customer service.
You will be tasked with providing excellent and consistent customer service in addition to effectively promoting and selling Healthchem’s cosmetic, beauty, and wellness products.

Requirements :

Grade 12 / Matric
Retail experience as a sales consultant/assistant
Literate in using computers
Willing and able to work the long hours required by retail.

Advantageous:

Experiences with cosmetics, fragrances, and/or beauty products

Description of the Job:

Bring any serious or ongoing issues with the customer to the attention of the Frontshop manager.
Offer exceptional levels of care and service to your customers.
Makeovers, cosmetics demonstrations, spray promotions, and other activities can all be used to showcase the products being sold.
Maintain stock levels in accordance with the procedures outlined by Healthchem and communicate any shortages, damages, or expiration dates to the manager.

Make sure that the merchandising and displays are set up in an appealing manner.
Achieving departmental, brand, and vendor sales goals will help you reach your store’s revenue goals.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base on products, brands, and the retail industry in general.
Maintain responsibility for the marketing of all fragrances, cosmetics, and beauty house products.
Observe all of Healthchem’s policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), as well as all applicable health and safety rules and regulations.

Competencies:

Strong command of the English language, both orally and in writing
Be a good member of the team.
Provide excellent customer service.
Understand stock reports and sales (targets and budgets)
Carry out your labor in accordance with the assigned tasks.

Advantageous:

Promotions, one-on-one sales, sales quotas, customer relations, and product knowledge
Previous experience in sales and promotions
Manage damaged and expired stock and ensure that stock is rotated regularly.
Bilingual
Management of Stock

Particular aspects of the working environment:

Possess both a valid driver’s license and your own means of transportation.
A native or resident of South Africa
Clean history with the credit bureaus and the law
