Job Purpose

To carry out timeous and quality planned, preventative and crisis maintenance on all specified equipment to give impact to the business maintenance strategy and Client service guidelines.

Main Outputs:

• Report for on-site maintenance work and acquire off-site check out on job cards, according to Client and Company requirements
• Deliver planned and receptive maintenance service covering full hard FM range on Plumbing installations and minor building works
• Undertake day to day responsive maintenance tasks as given by the Supervisor, take care of leakages and blocked drains and performing general pipes duties
• Execute equipment service specifications as per Client and Company requirements
• Direct maintenance on plumbing equipments according to schedule, precaution or emergency fault rectification
• Perform examination of office, plumbing equipment on site, distinguish areas of risk and report back for rectification
• Guarantee that protection or emergency fault rectification follows the applicable regulation, SLA and job plans
• Guarantee quality of work and timeous completion of all field requests
• Give consistent input to the Manager and Client on restoration of activities
• Guarantee that precaution or emergency fault rectification complied with the applicable regulation, SLA and job plans
• Identify potential issues or hazards on Client equipment for investigation, assessment and resolution
• Guarantee quality of work and timeous completion of all field request
• Give constant input to the Supervisor and Client on restoration of operations

The Candidate should meet the accompanying requirements:

• Grade 12 (Technical Matric beneficial)
• Minimum N3 – N6 in Plumbing
• Legitimate SA Driver’s licence
• 3 years in trade with experience in plumbing equipment maintenance and digital control systems
• Training on hand tools , electrical and mechanical equipment
• MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
• Knowledge on OHS Act and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
