Job Description
To provide a bookkeeping service that accurately and timely processes financial transactions and generates financial reports in accordance with agreed-upon standard operating procedures and legislative requirements.
Specific Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver on agreed-upon performance targets in accordance with established procedures and service level agreements.
- Execute work in line with governance and compliance procedures.
- Identify and apply known solutions to operational challenges, and escalate any outstanding issues.
- Transactional activities should be recorded and reported on in order to provide timely and accurate information for accountability decision-making.
- Plan, administer, and process financial and bookkeeping tasks and activities in an effective and efficient manner that aligns with performance objectives.
Finance
- Execute work activities in an effective and efficient manner to maximise financial performance and profitability.
- Accounts are reconciled to ensure accuracy, and any reconciliation issues are escalated.
- Ensure that financial administration procedures for delivery comply with internal control policies and corporate governance standards. Report any irregularities to the immediate supervisor.
- Ensure that all relevant financial transactions are accurate, and that information is properly documented and stored.
- Process or accrue expenses accurately on the financial system within the specified month.
- Reconcile bank transactions and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding transactions.
- Timely reporting of financial information to a direct superior.
Client/Customer

Qualifications & Experience:
- Higher Certificates and/or Advanced National (Vocational) Certificates with NQF Level 05
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar environment.
Skills & Personal Attributes:
- Industry legislative compliance and knowledge.
