Description of the Call Centre Agent Job

AVI Within AVI, the Field Marketing business unit is a shared services organization.
To achieve a greater focus and an improved execution at the store level, Field Marketing places a primary emphasis on sales and merchandising for the beverages, snacking, and cosmetic business units. To better assist and support the Field Marketing team, Field Marketing is equipped with its very own National Call Centre.

It has come to our attention that the National Call Centre in Isando is looking to hire a Call Centre Agent on a fixed-term basis for a period of six months beginning as soon as possible.
Answering incoming calls from customers to take orders, enquiries and questions, handle complaints, troubleshoot problems, and provide information will be required for this role.
The position will report directly to the Team Leader of the Call Centre.

Principal Aspects of Call Centre Agent Performance:

Management of clients and sales transactions
Management and direction respectively
Order Management
Before the order is captured, make sure that any discrepancies are followed up with the representative or the customer.
Ensure that the minimum order value or quantity is met.
Ensure that all customer and order queries are resolved appropriately and communicated.
Ensure that all orders are routed correctly and that all special requests for delivery or collection are acted upon in accordance with Depot procedure.
Before the delivery run, you should send the listing of credit held orders to the accounts receivable department, and you should inform the buyer when an account is on hold.
Establish and maintain contacts within the various depots to guarantee that all of the necessary service requirements will be satisfied.

Call Centre Agent Experience Required:

A minimum of two years’ experience working in both inbound and outbound call centers is required.
Advantageous for those with experience in the FMCG industry
Knowledgeable in computers and Microsoft Office
A familiarity with SAP

Call Centre Agent Qualifications:

Completed Grade 12 (Matric)
Essential Call Centre certification

Provide service to the customer.
Make your meaning unmistakable.
Govern yourself and play by the rules.
Ability to adapt quickly and without resistance
