JOB PURPOSE

To help nursing unit staff in conveying protected and quality patient consideration that advances and meets the medical care needs of patients

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:

• Support and help nursing unit staff in the delivery of quality patient care within a team approach
• Recognize and report risks in accordance with clinic policies
• Add to a positive patient experience through helping the nursing unit staff
• Offer regulatory help to the nursing unit staff as determined
• Add to a learning environment that builds staff skill by taking part in constant self-development
• Guarantee that necessary stock is used productively and precisely charged

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Grade 12
• An appropriate qualification as a Care Worker
• Experience in a healthcare environment

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Understanding of stock control standards
• Reporting and documenting occasions/errands
• Knowledge of Medico,legal risks
• Knowledge of administrative errands
• Understanding of patient experience viewpoints
• Understanding of patient experience standards
• Use of infection prevention and control standards
