Description of the Job

It is your responsibility to respond to routine telephone calls around the clock, seven days a week, in order to assist in resolving a wide variety of questions and emergency calls by utilizing the Emergency Medical Dispatch procedures.
Takes care of the service request from the very beginning all the way through to its successful conclusion.
While maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor, assigns calls to the appropriate dispatcher.
Answer calls from customers and make sure their questions and concerns are addressed in a way that is both accurate and satisfying.

Help customers through difficult situations by being patient and offering assistance and support. This will hopefully de-escalate the situation.
Assisting customers with troubleshooting and navigating CHG’s products and services is one of your responsibilities.
Accept and manage calls from existing and potential customers.
Complete the necessary documentation as it becomes available and ensure that an accurate record-keeping system is maintained.

Keep all of the work procedures and processes up to date, effective, and efficient, and in compliance with CHG and health standards.
Maintain an awareness of, and familiarity with, the pertinent services provided by the Group.
Conduct whatever research is necessary using the resources that are available.
In accordance with the standard operating procedures, document all of the caller’s information.
When appropriate, follow up on calls received from customers.
Determine patterns in customer calls, document them, and then report them to the EMS and the Fleet Manager.

Attends to all incoming calls for service, both emergency and non-emergency, from the Fire and EMS departments while simultaneously collecting important information from callers.
Identifies the caller’s requirements and inputs them into the computer-aided dispatch system after making the determination.
notifies other service agencies for necessary actions to be taken as needed.
Collaborates with other departments to ensure that the organization as a whole is working toward and achieving its goals.
Calls are closed, logs on the system are updated, and inter and intra hospital transfers, patient care, and record keeping are performed.
