Job Advert Summary

Perform administrative and related tasks specific to the CDC.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4 
  • National Diploma/Higher Level Education (advantageous).
  • 2-3 years of administrative experience
  • Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center is advantageous.
  • Business English: Fluent
  • Computer literacy.
  • Experience working with senior management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete a variety of administrative and associated activities.

  • Perform general office activities and administration as required.
  • Maintain and update filing, data, records, and systems.
  • Handle documentation.
  • Communicate with customers and workers as needed.
  • Provide relief to colleagues when needed.

Administer and monitor expenditure.

  • Raising orders for the branch
  • Receiving invoices
  • Amending Orders
  • Updating purchase orders for approval.
  • Printing authorized orders, attaching to invoices, and submitting for receipting.
  • Assisting with maintenance orders (pragma). – amending purchase order requests and submitting them to workflow for approval.
  • Receiving Pragma Orders – Once the invoice has been reviewed and signed off by management.
  • Requesting quotations from vendors for stock and equipment.
  • Organizing training for warehouse employees
  • Capturing Cancelled Invoices and Updating Cancellation Report. Daily
  • Assisted the branch with courier inquiries.
  • Assisting with travel booking (flights, vehicle rental, and hotel).
  • Month End Provision (accounting for bills that have not been processed during the month) – giving estimates to labor brokers
  • Acting Allowances – End of Month
  • TES Weekly costs for labor brokers.
  • Assisting with visitors: making PPE and meal arrangements.
