Description of the Job

The Engineering department at Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is currently recruiting for an exciting new position.
We are looking for an experienced and skilled individual to fill the position of Handyman at CCBSA Wadeville.
The ideal candidate will have relevant skills and experience.
The successful candidate will have direct reporting responsibilities to the Site Team Leader.

INTENTION OR AIM

Repairing and maintaining all site-related equipment, such as proactive building maintenance, painting, and general repairs, in accordance with established maintenance schedules.

Principal Obligations and Obligations

Using both hand tools and power tools, repair or replace any broken components of the machinery, and then reassemble the machinery.
Keep to your schedule.
Preventative maintenance is maintenance that is performed in order to ensure that the building’s systems operate effectively and that the building’s physical conditions do not deteriorate.
Make use of a wide variety of hand and power tools, including hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, among other common tools.
Ensure the cleanliness of the ablution facilities

Selection of Equipment – Planning is an essential part of carrying out a task successfully, and this must be done with the appropriate tools.

Critical thinking entails the application of logic and reasoning to determine the advantages and disadvantages of various potential solutions, conclusions, or methods for approaching a problem.
Operation Monitoring entails keeping an eye on gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that the machinery is operating as it should.
Coordination entails making adjustments to one’s actions in relation to those of others.

EXPERIENCE AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Matric with a Mathematics major
It will be to your advantage to have a trade qualification (for example, in carpentry, painting, building, or plumbing).
A minimum of two years of demonstrated experience working as a tiller, painter, plumber, or carpenter, in addition to having a background in construction.
Verbal interaction in the English language.
The capacity to work independently without close supervision.
Operation of both hand tools and power tools.
A valid driver’s license.
