JOB SPECIFICATIONS
To assume responsibility for the prompt, safe delivery and transportation of patients while adhering to all relevant laws and guidelines pertaining to patient transport.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12 or equivalent level.
- Driver’s license with code 10 and a PDP permit
- There will be no acceptance of violations against a driver’s license or permit.
- At least two years of driving experience.
WORK REQUIREMENTS:
- Every day, perform the necessary pre-trip inspections (checks) on the assigned vehicle to make sure it complies with National Road and Traffic Act requirements.
- Inform the fleet manager of any maintenance needs.
- Keep up with and finish the inspection sheets and daily log.
- The complete delivery of personnel and additional resources was required.
- Job requests are prioritized to maximize fuel efficiency and time.
- Move clients and patients effectively and safely.
- Park cars in the company’s secure lots, make sure they’re locked, and store the keys somewhere safe.
- On the day preceding the commencement of weekends or public holidays, make sure that all of the cars are loaded.
- Make sure every piece of equipment is operating properly every day.
