Description of the Cook Job
The incumbent of this position will be responsible for the preparation of food for daily kitchen production, which is the role’s stated purpose.
They are going to be responsible for providing food service of a high quality.
Education and practical experience:
It is required that applicants have a minimum of two years of experience working in a contract catering environment as a cook.
Certification in Food and Beverage Operations or Culinary Arts
Matriculation exam
The ability to perform batch cooking in a hospital setting is a requirement. Previous experience working in a hospital setting is desirable.
Principal Domains of Responsibilities:
Produce and present food of the highest quality, which will allow you to make a positive contribution to the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Providing assistance with various tasks to the kitchen staff.
