Description of the Data Analyst/ Data Capturer Job
We are looking for an individual who is talented and motivated to join our team as a Data Analyst/Data Capturer, and the search is currently ongoing.
With this position, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization through the efficient management and analysis of data.
Data Analyst/ Data Capturer Responsibilities:
Analysis of Data Collecting, interpreting, and analyzing data in order to recognize trends, patterns, and insights that will support informed decision-making within the organization is a part of data analysis.
Data Capturing: Enter and maintain accurate data in our systems, ensuring data integrity and adherence to protocols that have been established.
Reporting on the Data: Produce reports and data visualizations to communicate findings and present data-driven recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
Process Improvement: Determine where there are opportunities for streamlining data capture and analysis processes, and put in place solutions that are both efficient and effective to boost productivity.
Collaboration: Ensure all data-related requirements are met by working closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Management, to support ongoing initiatives.
Data Analyst/ Data Capturer Requirements:
Education requirements include completion of Matric as well as any applicable certifications in data analysis or database management.
A minimum of two years’ experience working as a Data Analyst, Data Capturer, or in a field closely related to this one is required.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in roles requiring data analysis and data capture, preferably within the security services industry or a field closely related to it.
Technical Abilities: Proficient knowledge of data analysis programs like Excel and Online Intelligence, among others.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a keen eye for detail and the ability to spot data anomalies or inconsistencies are required for this position.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the capacity to present complex data findings in a manner that is both clear and concise.
Team Player: Someone who has demonstrated the ability to work effectively with others in a group setting, fostering productive relationships and contributing to the accomplishment of group objectives.
