Requirement

  • Minimum Grade 10 or NQF Level 3 and one year of relevant work experience, or Grade 12 without relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in English and the primary language spoken in the relevant geographical region of the position.
  • Legitimate South African identification or employment authorization
  • Capability to execute fundamental calculations with precision.
  • Must be prepared to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Must possess the ability to perform under pressure

Client Assistance

Provide guidance and support to customers regarding appropriate items and inquiries.
Facilitate and address customer grievances

Merchandising Standards

  • The bulk stock section must be merchandised securely and in accordance with the store layout design.
  • Ensure that your designated space is completely merchandised in accordance with the store layout and planograms.

Domestic management

  • Ensure that your area is devoid of impediments, merchandise is displayed promptly upon receipt, and that customers may navigate your aisle without danger of damage or annoyance.
  • Accurate shelf price labeling within the designated area of responsibility.
  • Verify that the checklist is completed as mandated during duty with the Canteen and Toilet/Showers schedule.

Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) Requirements

  • Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OHSA) regulations, including the utilization of safety equipment and the assurance of safety for both customers and workers within the designated area of responsibility.
  • Ensure that the stock in the area of responsibility (racking and bulk) is merchandised safely for customers and colleagues to navigate inside the store.
  • Notify the Store Manager of any irregularities.

  • Notify the Store Manager of any damaged inventory within your area of responsibility.
