Position Overview
SplashOut is pleased to announce the availability of two positions for General Assistants, to be located in Cape Town, Western Cape.
The successful candidates will guarantee adherence to all policies and procedures, as well as rigorous compliance with internal controls.
Execute all ad-hoc assignments as requested by Management on an as-needed basis.
Ensuring the maintenance of quality control and effective time management at all times, while also reporting and keeping management apprised of any issues that may arise during the production and installation processes.
Offer assistance to the Signage personnel in their endeavors.
Beneficial:
- A minimum of one year of experience in signage is required.
- Pertinent Certification/Diploma Geographical Proficiency
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installation of large-format materials.
- To provide support to the installation personnel regarding external signage.
- Provide assistance to the internal sign fabrication department.
- Maintenance of the warehouse and manufacturing facility.
- Inventory assessment and documentation of all instruments.
- Ensuring the timely completion and installation of all external signage production.
- Implement the most effective maintenance and planning strategies to reduce the organization’s internal expenses and minimize operational disruptions.
- Please ensure that the Signage Coordinator is kept apprised of all activities pertaining to the Signage Department.
- Timely and precise reporting to the Signage Coordinator is required.
- The subsequent tasks and responsibilities are required, though not limited to, providing assistance and fulfilling additional duties within the department.
- To provide support to the installation department regarding the implementation of internal and external signage utilizing a variety of materials.
- Adhoc functions and responsibilities.
People:
- You are responsible for monitoring your own performance, and it is incumbent upon you to arrange performance review meetings with the Operations Manager.
Compliance, risk management, and quality assurance:
- Complete adherence to company policies and procedures is ensured.
- Complete adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Ensure the systematic preservation of all work, templates, and related materials on a monthly and annual basis, such that each year’s financial records are self-sufficient and can be independently reviewed during inquiries, investigations, or audits.
- Create high-quality, organized, logical, concise, and comprehensible templates, workbooks, and financial models that are supported by factual information and devoid of numerical values within the formulas.
- Please ensure that the aforementioned final version, along with any other relevant documents, is systematically saved and backed up in chronological order.
- Expansion and the introduction of new markets and products:
- Provide assistance with assignments as instructed on occasion.
- It is imperative to implement appropriate measures and undertake necessary actions to attain the company’s short-term, medium-term, and long-term objectives.
