Job Description
Motor Spares Stop is looking for a General Worker to join the branch in Wynberg . The purpose for the position is to perform general distribution center obligations like stock taking, binning, picking, packing, checking, moving stock, and ensuring that the warehouse is always clean
Binning
• Guarantee the binning of approaching product and the replenishment of stock from bulk to pick locations is proceeded according to standard working procedures and prerequisites
• Guarantee new items are distributed with bin location numbers in the right stockroom region
• Guarantee receptacles are refreshed and stock dispensed to new container areas are accounted for to you predominant and refreshed
• Aid recharging capabilities
• Guarantee all incoming products are received and checked according to organization principles
Picking
• Guarantee picking of client and branch orders are being picked hesitantly to meet request deadlines
• Guarantee picking from bulk areas are only done as alternative bin when stock is depleted and not renewed in the picking stage or while picking bulk orders to prevent the breakage of pack sizes
• Complete all sensible and legal guidance connecting to work given to you by your superior
• Follow all relevant procedures to increase effective consumer loyalty
• Aid stock take systems
• Guarantee housekeeping is done daily
• Guarantee double checks are done to maintain high degrees of consumer loyalty and to prevent loss of stock
• Guarantee set standard operational targets are accomplished reliably
Scanner Control
• Issue scanners to all operators everyday.
• Book out scanners on the electronic application.
• Get scanners back from operators, investigate scanner for damage and book once again into stock on the electronic application.
• Report any harm to the manager
• Complete the daily scanner issue spreadsheet
Qualifications and Experience:
• Grade 12
• At least 3 Years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Clear criminal record
Skills And Attributes:
• Should be proficient, exact, focused and attention to detail
• Should have numeracy and literacy abilities
• Self-motivated and willing to go above and beyond
• Should be a cooperative person
