FORESTRY SERVICE AID REQUIREMENTS:
ABET or relevant qualification.
No experience required.
A familiarity with planting and propagation techniques.
Communication skills, Planning, Interpersonal skills and Listening skills.
Planning and carrying out the plan, taking responsibility, and working together are all essential.
Reliability, self-discipline, and positive attitude.
FORESTRY SERVICE AID DUTIES:
Perform various tasks within the nursery.
Gathering of the seeds Purification of the seed.
The treatment of the seed before sowing.
Preparation of containers for seedlings
The act of sowing seed.
Preparation of the cuttings and planting of them.
Putting soil into planting bags as preparation for planting.
Make room in the beds for the transplanting of plants.
Seedlings were moved from their trays into their individual bags.
Trees were moved from smaller containers to larger ones before being planted.
Trees that have been transplanted are being packed.
Sand and compost are combined and mixed together.
Weeds can be removed manually and chemically.
Treatment of seedlings and saplings with irrigation.
Help out with the inventory check.
Correct labeling of the plant specimens.
Examine the seedlings and plants for any signs of disease or pests.
Help out the people who have come to purchase trees.
Accountable for the tools that have been provided.
Please inform the Foreman of any damage that has occurred in the nursery.
Sand and compost should be moved to the tables or beds now.
Tree seedlings, crates, and other items need to be moved.
After each use, make sure to clean the equipment.
Take part in the purchase and sale of seedlings.
