Role Purpose

To provide a service that is both effective and efficient to clients and intermediaries by accurately approving transactions involving Investment only and making sure that all transactions are processed within the agreed upon service levels in order to support the operations of the Fund.

Requirements
The Candidate’s Background and Capabilities

Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
V-Lookups and other intermediate Microsoft Excel functions can be performed with ease.
Prior experience with employee benefits is preferred.
Successful Completing the Yenzani training will be beneficial in the long run.

Duties & Responsibilities

Processing investment trades is necessary in order to guarantee that transactions are included in the trade cycle in a timely manner.
Processing Individual Member Choice (IMC) funds while ensuring that all member records that are pertinent to the transaction are accurately updated and that the transaction cycle is not delayed.
Process trades at the fund level that result in disinvestment while ensuring compliance with all applicable audit requirements and policy conditions within the allotted amount of time for the service level agreement.

Conduct trades for the purpose of disinvesting IMC funds while ensuring that all policy conditions are met and that accurate values are paid within the allotted amount of time for the service level agreement.
Make sure that the monthly balance reports and Investment Statements for IMC funds are sent out to clients within the timeframe that was agreed upon for the service level.
Make sure that the processing and checking of the monthly fees are done when they are due.
The administration of an investment only business, including receipt and payment of funds, the setting up of accounting systems, and the dissemination of monthly statements.

It is imperative that monthly statements for fund level funds be distributed in accordance with the service level agreements.
Conduct research into customer concerns within the bounds of the agreed-upon service level and make certain the customer is given timely and accurate feedback.
When necessary, escalate any questions or concerns raised by customers to the appropriate department or stakeholder.

Create a consistent experience for your customers by establishing and maintaining relationships with your clients and other stakeholders.
Maintain a professional tone when composing client-facing correspondence and attend to their needs as they arise.
Accept responsibility for the delivery of the service.
