IN REGARD TO THE FUNCTIONS AND AIM OF THE POSITION

This Maintenance Operator will provide support to the Maintenance Team by effectively assisting with the maintenance of equipment and maintaining reliability while adhering to procedures and codes.
The end goal of this support is to increase stability and maintain the equipment’s capacity for long-term use.

FUNCTIONAL OUTPUTS

Accurately complete all tasks and checklists that are specific to the job.
conducting a visual inspection of the working environment to check that safety standards are being followed and reporting any unsafe conditions to a higher authority.
The implementation of job-specific SOPs and COPs in order to guarantee that housekeeping standards are met and maintained.
Contribute effectively and efficiently as a member of a group in order to realize the goals that have been set for the group.
With an awareness of how the costs incurred by your team are affected by your actions, determine and implement strategies for cost reduction.
Describe all of the activities associated with the task.

Qualifications:

Grade 12/N3/NCV Level 4 with English, Maths & Science
Level 2 Mechanical completed (wish)
First Aid certificate
Able to obtain a Medical certificate of fitness
5 Gasses/Competent A or B

Specific experience required

12 months of experience working in underground coal mines (Wish)
