In order to combat the spread of HIV among people who use drugs (PWUD) in the City of Johannesburg, Anova’s Jab Smart initiative was initiated in the latter half of 2017. (COJ).
PWUD have a heightened risk of contracting HIV, as well as high levels of stigma and discrimination.
