Job Purpose
Assists the Guest Relations Officer with more complex inquiries and tours, while also providing oversight in this area.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Accompanying tour groups and giving information about the stadium at various stops along the way
- Making sure two-way radios are in good working order so that visitors and tour operators can communicate effectively throughout the shift
- Before the tour begins, make sure the platform key, indemnity forms, and harnesses are ready.
- Clean the exhibition center so it’s ready to open at 9 in the morning.
- Check all equipment to make sure it’s ready for the presentation.
- Update the tour script and presentation.
- Check routes and the sky car.
- Write a daily shift report to report on daily operations.
- Help with events by making direct signage as needed.
- Health and fitness are necessary physical qualifications.

Requirements
- A National Qualification Framework (NQF) Level 6 Diploma in Tourism, Sports Management, or a Related Field.
- The ability to operate a motor vehicle legally.
- Having worked in the hospitality or tourism industry for at least 2 years is a must.
- Proficiency with PCs.
- Manages more complex guest cases and assists the Guest Relations Officer as needed.
Responsibilities
- Acknowledging and accommodating Tour Operators and Visitors
- Assisting guests on stadium attractions by maintaining functional two-way radios to ensure effective communication during the shift
- Guiding tour groups through the stadium and offering information at various places of interest
- Prepare all necessary safety equipment, such as harnesses, platform keys, and indemnity forms, the night before the tour begins.
- Clean the exhibition center so it is ready to open at 9 in the morning.
- Check that all equipment is in working order before the presentation.
- Update the tour script and presentation.
- Check routes and the sky car.
- Write a daily shift report to report on daily operations.
- Help with events by making necessary direct signage.
