JOB DESCRIPTION :
To provide general handyman and maintenance services throughout the entire building.
DUTY AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Ensure that general building and office repairs are executed, including but not limited to plumbing, paving, painting, brick work, laying of tiles and carpets, replacing broken glass panes, and inspecting the roof.
Charged with the responsibility of modifying offices, including the removal of partitions, the installation of partitions and the hanging of doors, and the replacement of ceiling tiles
Conduct inspections of the building and offices, and report any major flaws to management (walking around a building with five stories and another building with two stories, performing inspections).
It is your responsibility to remove and relocate furniture within the building.
This includes disassembling desks, carrying desks and other furniture between offices and the workshop, and other similar tasks.
The office furniture will undergo minor repairs, including the transportation of broken furniture to the workshop and the repair of broken furniture.
Performing housekeeping tasks such as stacking, collecting, and disposing of rubble, as well as cleaning up the workplace.
Arranging chairs, tables, and any other necessary equipment for meeting venues is part of the process of setting up halls and meeting venues.
Participating in the gathering and transportation of promotional materials and banners (banners were moved between offices and store rooms/vehicles).
(Collect heavy items from reception and bring them to stores)
Receiving of goods that have been delivered to stores
Assist the Electrician by carrying light bulbs and ladders, as well as assisting in the process of changing lights in areas that are difficult to access.
When necessary, provide assistance in the verification of the physical assets.
Assist in the process of labeling and marking the assets owned by the Corporation.
Contribute to the opening of drains and the cleaning of gutters by providing assistance.
Possession of the ability to observe and ensure that standard safe practises and procedures in the workplace are followed.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12
- Certificate in plumbing/bricklaying/carpentry
- A background in general maintenance experience
SKILLS
A familiarity with the reticulation apparatus used for fire protection.
Must be able to work well with others.
Comprehend the essential instruments of the trade
You will be paired with people who will work in different environments and with different fields.
In the event that it is necessary, you must be willing to work overtime or odd shifts.
