Job Purpose
To complete timeous and quality planned, preventive and emergency maintenance on all specified equipment.
Main Outputs
• Perform errands in agreement to job cards (work orders) issued, according to Client and Company requirements
• Conduct investigations, assessment and restorations on identified equipment malfunction
• Complete minor repairs and service on all electrical equipment and machines according to SLA
• Perform office movement related errands, including yet not restricted to, installation of furniture; shop fitting, repair doors, locks, handles, windows; replace ceiling and carpet tiles; general paint work
• Complete minor repairs and service on all plumbing related equipment according to SLA
• Help the Artisan with major repairs and services
• Give constant feedback to the Offices Manager/Service Manager/Building Supervisor/Commercial Coordinator on restoration status of tasks
• Undertake other related obligations and tasks as assigned occasionally
The Candidate should meet the accompanying requirements:
• Matric (Senior Certificate)
• N3 Technical (Electrical/Mechanical)
• Legitimate SA Driver’s license
• 3yrs relevant experience in Handyman building maintenance tasks
• Basic training on hand tools, electrical and mechanical equipment
• Knowledge on OHS Act and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
