Requirements:
Grade 10- or 7-12-months relevant experience.
Driver’s license with a valid code 8/10;
No criminal record or pending cases against you.
The knowledge and abilities of:
A familiarity with the processes involved in operating a motor vehicle, such as the steps required to acquire trip authorities, fill out the logbooks of the motor vehicle, purchase consumables (like gasoline), and get basic services (like repairing a flat tire), among other things.
A familiarity with the prescripts for the correct utilization of the motor vehicle, such as how and for what purposes the motor vehicle can be used, and what the requirements are for storing the vehicle.
A working knowledge of the procedure to follow in order to ensure that the motor vehicle is properly maintained.
A familiarity with the processes involved in carrying out the messenger function as well as other routine office support functions such as the making of photocopies and registry functions.
Duties:
Transporting passengers in light and medium-sized motor vehicles, as well as delivering other items (such as mail and documents) is part of your job.
Perform routine maintenance on the vehicle that has been assigned to you and report any defects as soon as possible.
Complete all of the log books and records that are required and prescribed in relation to the vehicle and the goods that are being handled.
Provide administrative assistance and act as a messenger within the relevant office.
This would entail a number of things, including the following:
Documentation and other related items need to be collected and delivered within the department.
Make copies and fax over the documents.
Help when needed in the register.
