We are looking for an experienced Gas Producer Helper – Chemical to make certain that all of the outside equipment and processes are being fully utilized and are fully functional, as well as to make certain that all of the outside activities are being carried out safely.
You will be responsible for the following things as a Chemical Gas Producer Helper:
Make sure that the plant is operating at the required rate and according to the quality specifications
Once for each shift, check the auxiliary equipment.
Ash dips should be performed twice for each shift.
Each shift requires you to fill the coal bunkers twice.
Make sure that samples are analyzed on a daily basis.
Dust cyclones should be drained twice for each shift.
As soon as the tar storage tank is full, it is your responsibility to load the tar tanker. When it is necessary, you should also assist with starting up and shutting down the plant.
Carries out additional responsibilities on the process controller’s or shift superintendent’s instruction.
Make ash dips as required and as often as possible.
When necessary, engage in poking in multiple directions.
Make sure the ash pans and the seals have plenty of water in them.
Ensures that all of the systems that keep ash pans and seals full of water and in good working order are checked at the beginning of each shift.
Locate abnormal or emergency plant conditions and take corrective action in accordance with the applicable standards (BOP)
Isolate plant as per specifications
Participate in housekeeping duties with the team and pay attention to your areas of responsibility.
Any other requests made on an ad hoc basis by the shift superintendent or production manager
