REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 certificate.
Competency with computers, namely Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Microsoft Outlook.
No experience

Knowledge/ Skills:

Acquiring an understanding of the Batho Pele Principles.
A familiarity with the procedures involved in labor relations.
Conflict management abilities.
Capability to function effectively in adverse conditions
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skill.

Strong communication abilities both orally and in writing.
Capability to communicate with stakeholders both inside and outside.
Capability of working both alone and collaboratively as necessary.
Capability to communicate effectively with individuals of varying skill levels.
Capability to plan and arrange one’s work in an appropriate manner.

Possession of the ability to behave deftly and with prudence.
Must be able to motivate oneself.
Capability to tackle activities that need knowledge from several fields.
Comply with the schedule for the rotation.

DUTIES:

Request quote from suppliers.
Compile papers for vetting.
Committee.
In the SAP system, create the RLS01 report.
Make a request in the SAP system.

Maintain communication with the Health Processing Centre in order to generate purchase order numbers for requisitions that have been processed.
Coding of assets using barcodes.
Verification of the assets being conducted
Keeping a record of all papers for the purpose of auditing.

Attend to end users’ questions.
Get involved in the process of taking inventory.
Bringing the VA11, VA7, and VA10 cards up to date.
Distribution of inventory to end-users in accordance with VA2 requirements
During the process of capturing products received vouchers, processing web cycles, and communicating with suppliers, it is essential to guarantee compliance with all applicable rules, mandates, and policies.

When carrying out the duties that have been assigned to you, be analytical and creative in your approach.
Reports should be compiled on a weekly and monthly basis and sent in to the supervisor.
Carry out any additional tasks that have been assigned to you by the supervisor.
A willingness to participate in ongoing training and development programs is required.
Attend all of the meetings and training sessions that have been authorized by the supervisor.
Observe the Performance Management and Development System guidelines (Contracting, quarterly reviews and final assessment).

NOTE:

The new Z83 must be completely filled out (please refer to the left side of the Z83 for clarification), initialed, and signed.

On the Z83, the Department where the advertised post was located should read Department of Health (Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital).
According to Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) Circular 19 of 2022, candidates are not needed to send copies of qualifications and other essential papers with their application, but they must present a completely filled out Z83 and a thorough curriculum vitae.

The curriculum vitae should be current and include the following information:
All experience should be presented in chronological sequence, identifying the position, institution, and beginning and ending dates (DD/MM/YYYY).

Verification of Personnel Suitability Checks (PSC) (Reference checks)
Provide at least three references, one of which must be an immediate supervisor; the Department has the right to undertake further verifications, if required.

The applicant will be disqualified if they fail to provide all the required information prior to the previous sentence.
Verification of identity, verification of credentials, criminal background checks, credit/financial stability checks, and employment verification are all necessary steps.

Candidates holding a foreign qualification are required to provide the Department with a certificate of assessment from the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) (only when shortlisted).
