Intercare Walmer Medical and Dental Centre situated in Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth looks to recruit for a Receptionist. The focus point of this position is to give proficient client assistance by working with the patient organization process.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Give productive, cordial and professional telephone services in patient care.
• Help patients in precisely completing appropriate forms, and report all data according to internal policies and methods.
• Responsible for all processes connected to the reception patient journey, for example booking, arrival and payment of patient on the applicable system.
• Direct all clients to the appropriate location, services and professional.
• Guarantee patient privacy consistently as per POPIA.
• Guarantee that the reception area is consistently perfect and clean.
• Refer all emergency cases to the medical caretaker’s station according to protocol.
• Help patients with essential record questions and raise as required.
• Collect all co-payments and record balances as per Intercare strategies and methods.
• Execute and stick to cash-up and banking processes daily.

Necessities:

• Grade 12.
• Past experience with a customer focused environment, for example reception, will be advantageous.
• PC proficiency.
• GoodX system experience will be advantageous.
