Primary Objective of the Position

This Learnership culminates in a nationally recognized FETC: Long Term Insurance NQF Level 4 certificate, comprising structured learning components alongside practical professional experience in the Financial Services sector.

Areas of duty may encompass, but are not limited to

Long-Term Insurance – Discovery Health:

Call Centre: Client servicing for medical aid, claims processing, new business acquisition, and administration of health benefits.

Academic Background and Professional Experience

  • Twelfth grade is crucial.
    • Mathematics (Minimum Level 4 – 50%)
    • English (Minimum Proficiency Level 4 – 50%)
    • Mathematics Literacy (Minimum Level 5 – 60%)
    • Second language (Minimum Level 4 – 50%)
  • Possession of an unfinished tertiary qualification (advantageous)

Particular Specifications:

  • Not participating in post-matriculation studies or formal employment;
  • Have not completed any prior Learnership.
  • Must be aged between 18 and 25 years;
  • Possess proficient communication abilities in both written and spoken English.
  • Exhibit fundamental computing proficiency primarily Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
