MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

In order to establish and maintain Mediclinic gardens, which will ensure the planting and maintenance of healthy water-wise plants, neat and safe garden and entrance areas, and an overall enhancement of the safety and aesthetics of Mediclinic sites, to establish and maintain Mediclinic gardens.

Planting and maintaining gardens is a primary area of responsibility.
Maintain vegetation
Take care of the irrigation system.
Ensure continuous quality controls
Make sure that the entrances are clean and safe for people to use.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Grade 10
DESIRED EDUCATION: Grade 12

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

None
Landscaping / garden design

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Plants and shrubbery (including recommendations for placement)
Fire,Fighting
Garden tools (e.g. rake; saw etc.)
Repair and installation of irrigation systems
The application of fertilizers and herbicides, as well as the associated protocols for their use and safety.
Insecticides (along with the usage and safety protocols that go along with them) Trimming and pruning
Concerning Health and Safety in the Workplace
