Objectives of the Position
In order to achieve optimally maintained stock levels, Medirite Plus Moreleta Park is looking for a Stock Controller who understands the importance of maintaining stock levels.
As part of the role, you will be responsible for accurately accepting deliveries of incoming goods and ensuring that the flow of goods to the trading store and back to the distribution center and suppliers is as smooth as possible.
In order to be successful in the role of stock controller, you need to have extensive knowledge in inventory management as well as previous experience working in the retail sector.

Specifics of the Job Advertisement
A comparison of the goods received with the invoice is used to ensure that the goods are received accurately.
for the purpose of accurately and promptly recording invoices of goods that have been received on the system.
Make sure that the goods that are delivered are the same as the goods that have been invoiced and noted in terms of the quantities, variations, and conditions.
Process all returns to suppliers in accordance with the standard operating procedures of the company.
Maintain the store room in a satisfactory and well-organized state, and make sure that it is in good condition.
Participate in the management and control of high-risk stock positions.
Find any inconsistencies and bring them to the attention of the manager.
Return any goods that have been delivered to the store that are not in the correct order or that have been damaged, and accurately fill out credit notes for items that have not been accepted in accordance with the company’s standard operating procedures and policies.
Lifting heavy boxes and unloading pallets is a labor-intensive task that requires a lot of effort.

Credentials and qualifications
Grade 12
The experience
At least one year of relevant work experience in a retail or fast-moving consumer goods store operations environment, preferably in a role that is comparable.
Skill and Acquired Knowledge
Experience in the retail and fast-moving consumer goods industries, as well as an understanding of the fundamentals and best practices of stock management.
A meticulous focus on the details.
Abilities in time management and organization that are truly exceptional.
Exceptional abilities to solve problems.
Abilities with computers (including Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as Office 365).
