Job Description

Motus Toyota Nelspruit currently holds an opportunity for an Apprentice Level 1 Answering to the Service Manager, this position will be fit to an individual who aspires to become a Motor Mechanic Technician and ready to go through Apprentice Training Programme for a maximum of four years.

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Assist with the repair of vehicles under the instructions of a Technician
• Remove/replace parts/units from vehicles
• Lift vehicles and spot trestles
• Grease and change oils (under management) according to manual specification
• Remove and replace wheels
• Remove and fit air and oil filters
• Help with all vehicle repairs
• Remove and fit batteries
• Clean parts and housekeeping
• Attend prescribed technical/level courses
• Perform any other sensible obligations which might be expected every now and then
• Help with housekeeping
• Keep tools and equipment spotless and all neat and tidy
• Keep overalls clean and workspace clean
• Observe Security Guidelines

Capabilities and Experience:

• Should Have Grade 12 with Pure Math and Physical Science
• Preference will be given to candidates with an Motor Mechanic Trade qualification
• A legitimate Driver’s Permit will be an additional benefit
• Should have a clear criminal Record
• Abilities and personal attributes
• Technical abilities will be advantage
• Great customer orientation and cooperative person
