Description of the Job
For the Mega Store location, Midas is looking for a salesperson who is goal-oriented, enthusiastic, and has previous experience in the automotive industry.
The goal of this position is to achieve all sales quotas while simultaneously ensuring that all customers are completely satisfied at all times.
The candidate who is ultimately chosen will need to have strong abilities in both communication and negotiation.
The following will be included among the Key Performance Indicators, but the list is not exhaustive:
Control sales to customers and employees behind the counter, and make sure that full customer potential is realized.
Obtain the desired level of revenue as determined by the Sales/Branch/Retail Manager.
Create a plan, make a forecast, and report on the sales potential of each individual customer.
Please report the pricing and activities of all competitors.
Please report any and all information pertaining to delivery, telesales, and account issues for the customer.
Achieve revenue targets while also ensuring that new business is generated by expanding the customer base and increasing market share in the geographical area for which you are responsible.
Develop and improve your relationships with your customers.
Taking in sales inquiries from existing and potential customers
Give pricing information, as well as details about your products and services.
In response to inquiries that come in, offer support and specific pricing information.
Assist all other departments, including Accounts, Despatch, Warehousing, Receiving, and Technical, in ensuring that good co-operation within the company does minimize the number of customer questions and concerns.
Requirements
Matric
Essential: A minimum of two years’ experience working in a sales environment focused on parts and spares
Extensive experience working in a sales environment and addressing the requirements of customers.
a comprehensive understanding of the geographical region in which they are responsible.
A technical background would be extremely helpful in this situation.
Be a contributing member of the team.
Some knowledge of business :
Including an understanding of the costs and situations in which a customer service delivery can break even
Should be capable of carrying out his or her responsibilities with minimal oversight from others.
Capacity for careful planning and efficient use of time
Clear criminal record
