Job Title: Digital Ambassadors: Yarona Digital Programme (Six months contract) X 30
Organisation: NEMISA Department: Yarona Digital Programme
Location: ONLY the Capricon District Municipality in the Limpopo Province will serve as the Ambassadors’ home base.
Stipend: Ambassadors are entitled to receive a stipend on a monthly basis.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To participate in training on the basic digital literacy modules that have been identified, when such training is requested. to instruct members of the community on the various modules comprising fundamental digital literacy skills as directed.
JOB OBJECTIVES
- Acquire fundamental digital literacy skills by working through the provided modules.
- Actively participate in the training sessions provided in order to guarantee adequate knowledge acquisition.
- Have the ability to give training to members of the community.
- Communicate with the local government regarding the locations of the community training sessions.
- Ensure that attendance registers are filled out completely and accurately, and that relevant training is carried out and satisfies the requirements for relevant training that have been prescribed.
- Ensure that the weekly goals that have been allotted are met.
- Provide Nemisa with a weekly report on the number of trained citizens in each area compared to the weekly target number.
- Formal Qualifications and Educational Accomplishments
Education is the process of acquiring knowledge and skills through the process of learning, with the content being presented in a methodical manner.
Formal qualifications can be acquired by attending formal educational institutions such as universities, Technikons, colleges, and so on. - Educational Qualifications:
Minimum:- Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent
- Skilled with computers
Ideal:- Post matric qualification
- Computer certificate
Work Experience that is Relevant to the Job
One acquires experience by participating in activities that provide opportunities for exposure and practice while working.
It takes into account any previous employment that has a direct or indirect bearing on the position in question and is not limited to the current employer.
This category includes supervised on-the-job training as well as internships, learnerships, and other forms of apprenticeship.
Minimum:
- A minimum of one to two years of relevant work experience
Ideal: - Must be bilingual (English, Venda, Sepedi, Xitsonga)
- Knowledge that is relevant to the job
- Knowledge that is relevant to a job can typically be obtained through participation in formal or informal training programs (these do not include programs that lead to the attainment of formal qualifications).
- It includes familiarity with facts, data, and information, as well as an understanding of the logic that underpins models, theories, and principles.
