The Goal of the Maintenance Operator Job
to operate mining-related machinery and equipment within the parameters for which they were designed in order to minimize waste and maximize efficiency of operations.
Maintenance Operator Key Responsibilities
Implement and uphold safety measures in the working environment.
Participates in the daily morning meetings held to discuss work assignments and carries out the work in accordance with the planning.
Offers the appropriate feedback to the supervisor regarding the progression of the work.
supports safety by putting into practice and adhering to various safety requirements and standards
demonstrates responsible housekeeping practices and adherence to established protocols for waste management
Identifies faults by applying relevant methods in order to guarantee the availability of equipment
Attends training courses and seminars in accordance with the training matrix in order to improve one’s level of competency and skills.
Determines one’s own personal training and development requirements, then incorporates them into their Personal Development Plan (PDP) with the approval of the group leader
By adhering to deadlines, you can help the company achieve its goals and realize its vision.
Ensures the dependability of plant equipment by carrying out plant inspections and repairs as necessary.
Offers appropriate updates to clients regarding the progression of work
The actions of My IMS inspections, which are aimed at preserving and enhancing the plant’s sustainability
Ensures that the appropriate historical feedback is captured in order to enhance renewals and upgrades, as well as the replacement of critical spares
Participates in improving plant safety by attending and interacting in toolbox talks.
Participates in plant safety and stability improvement PDAs and RCAs, where they are present and active.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in one’s own place of work.
Education in an Institution and experience are required
