Purpose of Position
At Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA), we offer stimulating careers in Manufacturing and Technology.
Young, talented people are needed for Packaging Learnership positions at a variety of Elgin locations.
The selected individual will have a direct reporting relationship with the Training Controller.
PRIMARY INTENT
This certification will help the student reach his or her full potential in the food and beverage packaging industry by facilitating increased visibility, career advancement, and transferability in the realms of beverage production and the fast-moving consumer products industry.
The goal of this NQF Level 3 Learnership is for participants to acquire a National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging.
Learnership: Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The student will be introduced to:
Bottling methods and techniques
Health and sanitation regulations
Specifications and quality assurance tests
Methods for Handling Food
IMPORTANT QUALITIES AND SKILLS
Self-motivated
Focus on detail Capability to work well with others
Competence in collaborating with others
Competencies, Knowledge, and Background
QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12 with Mathematics (NOT Mathematics Literacy) and physical sciences passed with 40%
Results for two South African languages both came in at 40%.
No prior experience or completion of a similar course of study at another institution is permitted.
OTHER PREREQUISITES
Citizenship of South Africa is required.

Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 35, have been unemployed at the time of appointment, and be available to commit to a 12-month learnership.
General
This learnership lasts for a year, and the minimum number of credits a student must achieve to graduate with this Qualification is 120.
