Job Description

Hire Resolve’s client is presently looking for a skilled Plant Fitter and Turner to join their mining team in Gauteng. As a Plant Fitter and Turner, you will be liable for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment in the mining plant.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair plant tools and equipment
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to guarantee the proper working of equipment
• Investigate and diagnose issues with machinery and equipment
• Perform repairs and reassemblies as necessary
• Monitor equipment performance and make changes as required
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance exercises
• Comply to all safety and environmental guidelines
• Team up with other colleagues to improve equipment reliability and efficiency

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Fitter Trade Test
• 5 years’ insight as a Fitter in the mining industry.
• Knowledge in Metallurgical Gold Plant.
• Understanding the upkeep requirements for conveyor belts, Knelson concentrators, thickeners, mills, pump cells, gearboxes, agitators, pumps, reactors, dewatering screens, and other metallurgical plant machinery.
• Substantial Drivers licence
