Summary of the Job Artisan Assistant Advertisement
Rand Water is looking for candidates who are interested in assisting the Artisan with the maintenance and repairing of Rand Water’s vehicles, plant, and equipment across the entirety of Rand Water’s distribution area.
Artisan Assistant Requirements Bare Minimums
Matric/Grade 12
Driver’s license with the Code EC and the PrDP.
6 months of experience working in a setting that is comparable
Capability to provide assistance to artisans with completing minor repairs
A familiarity with fundamental mechanical concepts
Artisan Assistant Primary Obligations
To provide assistance to the Artisan in the upkeep and repair of Rand Water’s vehicles, plant, and equipment across the company’s distribution area
The cleaning of the equipment, as well as the workshop and the work sites
Accurate information
Knowledge of maintenance procedures
Acquiring an understanding of mechanical concepts
Abilities :
Abilities in communication
Capable of assisting with a variety of minor repairs
