Job Summary

Reporting to the Assistant Mechanical Foreman, the successful applicant will help the Artisan in stripping, fixing, assembling and installing different kinds of machines and equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• 6 months working experience in a Mechanical Workshop environment
• Code B driver’s permit and the capacity to pass the Rand Water K53 drivers assessment.

Key Duties:

• Help Artisan in choosing tools and cleaning of machine/parts
• Help the Artisan in fixing and collecting different kinds of machines.
• Help the Artisan in repairing different equipment by utilizing different kinds of tools dismantling parts. Cleaning of messy parts and cleaning parts according to Artisan guidelines.
• General Housekeeping obligations including cleaning of workshop machinery and equipment.
