Summary of the Job Advertisement

In order to provide daily assistance to the artisan in the performance of maintenance work, it is necessary to carry out any and all appropriate instructions and to do it in a secure manner.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 or Equivalent
Capacity for Effective Communication
12 months of experience in a setting that is similar to the one in question
Knowledge of the welding and boilermaking
The ability to do basic welding and boilermaking tasks
Candidates that are selected must be capable of carrying out physically demanding work when it is required.
Having a driver’s license will be an additional benefit.

Primary Obligations

Transport of equipment and supplies on behalf of the Artisan
Make sure there is proper housekeeping at all times.
When the work is done, you are responsible for cleaning the machines and the work area. You must also follow all safety regulations.
Help the Artisan and the Workshop Assistant with tasks relating to their jobs, as well as gather spare parts from stores.

Carry out plant inspections and communicate any harmful conditions that you find to the Supervisor and/or the Artisan Knowledge Hand tools.
