In order to improve our Groceries Division, we at RCL FOODS are looking for a Storeman to join our team. The position will be based in Randfontein, and the Warehouse Supervisor will be the person to whom it reports.
RCL Foods is looking for an incumbent to manage warehouses in terms of stock rotation, stock balancing, receiving stock from plants, open bins in warehouses, stock transfers, daily warehouse pallet count, and monthly stock count.
Additional responsibilities include receiving stock from plants.

Certain Minimum Prerequisites

Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent.
A minimum of two years of experience in a role that is comparable.
The knowledge of Syspro.
Numeric skills equivalent to Grade 12.
Having the ability to think in a proactive manner and having good problem-solving skills.

The Obligations and Responsibilities

This individual is accountable for providing assistance to the Central Warehouse Supervisor in order to guarantee an effective and efficient flow of work, which includes the distribution of finished goods.

Supervise the activities of the daily work;

In the Yum Yum, Oil, and Mayo Plants, make sure that all stock is removed and booked from the plants on a daily basis with the appropriate paperwork (SCT).
100% of the stocks should be moved to the bins that have been designated for them.
Each day, all of the stock is to be categorized in a way that is both neat and accurate.

Monthly counts of the FG pallets in the warehouses.
Inventory counts performed on a monthly basis.
Ensure that there is no stock that has a shelf life of less than three months.
Ensure that everyone is following the SHERQ procedures.
A high standard of cleanliness is maintained in warehouses.
Establish and maintain distinct work areas, and arrange them in accordance with the requirements.
At all times, make sure that the conditions are safe and orderly.

Make sure that the work areas, grounds trucks, tools, fixtures, and equipment are in good working condition, and make arrangements for repairs as they become necessary.
Perform spot checks on a daily basis and check to see that the system and the actual stock level are in balance.
Help with loading and unloading items, both those that are in stock and those that are not in stock.
Provide assistance with the staging of DC loads whenever the controller or supervisor on duty specifically requests it.
