Description of the Job

RCL Foods is looking for an HR Administrator to join our team at Vector Logistics, and the search is currently underway.
The position will have its headquarters in Cape Town, and the HR Practitioner will serve as the direct supervisor.
The Human Resources team is looking for a qualified professional to contribute to the long-term development of the HR function while also providing day-to-day administrative support for human resources.

Requirements Bare Minimums

A certificate or degree in managing human resources is preferred.
Driver’s license with the EB code that is valid.
2 years of experience working in an environment that is comparable.
Experience with SAP.
Capability to successfully plan, schedule, and carry out work responsibilities.
Focus on the details and strong analytic abilities are required.

Capability to communicate at all different levels of the organization.

A List of Duties and Obligations

Offer full administrative support for the recruitment process for both A and B appointments.
Ensure that all reference checks and background investigations are completed in a timely manner and to the fullest extent possible.
Make the necessary announcements.

Take charge of the entire process, beginning with the offer letter and continuing through the joining instructions and the induction.
It is the responsibility of HR to provide employees and line managers with support and advice from HR, as well as to explain policies and procedures in a timely and efficient manner.

Manage the processes and questions pertaining to maternity, paternity, adoption, and parental leave.
Manage the processes and questions pertaining to health and safety, as well as IOD.
Manage the employee performance using the performance management system.
Data must be entered into the HR system in order for complete and accurate records to be kept.

You will be responsible for providing data as well as preparing management information reports.
Maintain communication with payroll and hand out the payslips.
Handle all of the fund entries and withdrawals for medical assistance.
Handle the paperwork for the death and disability claims.
Obtain disciplinary records and input them into SAP.

Perform the administration of the recording of the absence.
Manage the documentation of people’s time off for vacation.
Manage the review periods for the probationary period.
Keep the personnel filing system in good order, and make sure all of the documentation and files are secure.

Take charge of the process of administering leaves.
Give assistance in conducting investigations for procedures involving discipline and complaints.
Carry out the distribution and dissemination of policies, as well as the communication of any relevant information.

Documentation for employee and student loans and bursaries should be administered.
Respond to all employee and manager inquiries regarding HR administration that have been channeled through the company and ensure that these issues are resolved in accordance with the applicable service standards.
Coordination of the staff training that has been scheduled (including booking of venues, arranging for catering, informing delegates, etc.)
