We are looking for a receptionist to work in Bryanston Team Support, and this is an incredible opportunity for you. Do you believe that you’ve got what it takes to become the newest Purple Star that we have?

One of the responsibilities of the successful candidate will be to provide support and coordination for the overall front office activities. These activities will include the reception area, mail, purchasing, planning and scheduling, and facilities. The Office Administrator will also have them serve as an assistant to the administrator. It will also be their responsibility to direct and coordinate the services provided by the office and facilities, as well as the activities that are associated with those services. This includes the creation and supervision of programs that maximize the utilization of both services and equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Competent in MS Office products
  • A certificate in reception and office administration.
  • A minimum of two to five years of experience in administrative or clerical work.
  • A minimum of two to five years of experience working in reception and switchboard.

What You’ll do for the brand:

Operational Duties

  • The incoming guests should be greeted with a friendly smile and eye contact, and they should be escorted to the designated waiting area or meeting room. The pertinent members of the team should be informed of their arrival in the appropriate manner.
  • Attend to the needs and requests of guests who have special needs.
  • In addition to providing basic information when it is required, you will answer and direct any calls that come in.
  • Every day, the individual is responsible for ensuring that the building is always in presentable and good condition and reporting any maintenance-related issues to the administration of the office.
  • Make sure that the housekeeping department keeps the reception area clean and safe at all times, including the restrooms at the reception area.
  • Before you leave, check to see that the television and the light under the reception desk are turned off.
  • When you are at work, check to see that the television is working properly.
  • The individual provides assistance in the acquisition of office and production supplies, materials, equipment, and services in accordance with the purchasing policies of the company and the constraints imposed by the budget.
  • Contributes to the coordination of the maintenance of the building’s and office infrastructure.
  • The individual is responsible for maintaining supplies by performing tasks such as checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating requirements, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipts, stocking items, delivering supplies to work stations, and maintaining records of stock issued.
  • Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the department’s filing system. When information is required, it is retrieved from the files.
  • Conducts additional ad hoc tasks and projects in accordance with the directives provided by the office administrator.
  • It is imperative that you maintain punctuality by being on duty between the hours of 7:30 and 17:00.
  • It is imperative that proper telephone etiquette is adhered to, and that it is strictly prohibited for any personal phone calls to be made or received to or from the switchboard or the company phone.

  • able to operate a personal computer in a Windows environment with ease.
  • Able to work proficiently with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • It would be advantageous to have two years of experience in the administration of buildings and facilities.
