As a receptionist, you will provide high-quality customer service in accordance with the overall business strategy, as well as perform administrative and payment functions. If you are a motivated self-starter, this position is ideal for you.

Intercare Tramshed Medical and Dental Centre, located in Pretoria Central, is looking for a receptionist. The primary goal of this position is to provide professional customer service by facilitating the patient administration process.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide efficient, friendly, and professional telephone services to patients.
  • Assist patients in correctly completing necessary forms and documenting all information in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for all processes related to the reception-patient journey, such as patient booking, arrival, and payment via the relevant system.
  • Please direct all customers to the appropriate location, services, and Professional.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality at all times in accordance with POPIA.
  • Ensure that the reception area is always clean and tidy.
  • Refer all emergency cases to the nurse’s station as per protocol.
  • Assist patients with basic account inquiries and escalate as needed.
  • Collect all copays and account balances in accordance with Intercare policies and procedures.
  • Execute and follow the daily cash-up and banking processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12.
  • Previous experience in a customer-focused service environment, such as reception, would be advantageous.
  • Computer  literate.
  • GoodX system experience will be beneficial.
