The primary purpose of the position is:
To ensure that all air-conditioning equipment in the building, as well as its maintenance, is kept up to the required standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations, in order to avoid service interruptions in broadcasting.
DUTY AND RESPONSIBILITY:
- Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration equipment on a regular basis to ensure that it is in working order.
- Perform housekeeping and keep log books up to date.
- Install, repair, and modify refrigeration equipment, such as fans, pumps, and air-conditioning plants, as needed to ensure that it operates in accordance with established standards.
- On-the-job training of employees in fundamental skills to ensure that the department’s work is completed efficiently.
- Raising and soldering copper and various pipes to ensure no system leaks
- Do a 24-hour standby to be available if any of the facilities fail.
- Conduct inspections of fan and pump installations.
- Changes and installations are made to various systems.
- Follow all safety regulations and best practices.
REQUIREMENTS INHERENT/MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS
Mechanical Artisan (Minimum NTC3 or N3 and Trade Test Certificate/equivalent qualification)
EXPERIENCE
3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and building construction.
Experience with high-rise building plumbing systems.
KNOWLEDGE
Understanding of fire protection reticulation equipment
