Summary of the Job

Learners will emerge from this program having gained the knowledge and abilities necessary to function successfully in a banking setting, as that is the program’s primary objective.
The Higher Certificate in Banking Services at NQF Level 5 will be successfully completed by the students. This qualification will contribute to the learner’s development in the banking sector and provide work experience in vehicle and asset finance products.
Additionally, the learner will receive this experience in the workplace.
The fulfillment of a customer-facing role in sales support, business development, dealer risk management, and operations management will be the primary focus of attention.

Description of the Job:

Experiences in the workplace
To meet the development goals that have been set, you have to go to all workplace experiences and take part in them.
Attendance and participation in all training and development interventions geared toward achieving mutually agreed-upon development goals are learning requirements.
Providing support to customers and team members on an as-needed basis in order to guarantee continuous high performance by the team is one of the ad hoc duties.

Administration:

  • Carry out in an efficient manner all of the required administrative tasks, including monitoring and reporting

Minimum/ Essential Requirements:

  • The National Senior High School Diploma
  • A completed degree at level 7 of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) or a post-matric qualification at level 6 of the NQF.
  • Required to have a strong command of the English language and an understanding of how to use computers
  • Applicants must not currently be working and must be willing to commit to a development journey lasting one year.
  • Candidates must be between the ages of 18 to 30 to be considered for this program.
  • Placement & Stipend

Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R6,000 per month for the duration of the learnership programme. Successful incumbents will be placed at the Pietermaritzburg in AVAF.
