ABOUT THE JOB’S ROLE / PURPOSE

This Maintenance Operator will assist the Maintenance Team by providing effective equipment maintenance assistance and reliability while adhering to procedures/codes in order to promote equipment stability and sustainability.

TECHNICAL OUTPUTS

Completing job-specific tasks/checklists correctly.
Visual inspection of the working environment to ensure that safety standards are followed and to report any unsafe conditions to superior.
Application of job-specific SOPs and COPs to guarantee adherence to housekeeping requirements.
Work efficiently and effectively as a member of a team to achieve team goals.
Be aware of how your activities effect the cost of your team, and develop and implement cost-cutting solutions.
All task activities must be reported.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB

Qualifications:

Grade 12/N3/NCV Level 4 completed with English, Maths, and Science
Level 2 Mechanical (wish)
First Aid certificate
Capable of obtaining a Medical Fitness
Certificate 5 Gasses/Competent A or B
Extensive experience is required.
(Wish) 12 months underground coal mining experience
